GEICO Insurance plans to add 100 workers to its Coralville, Iowa office, the company announced this week.
The new jobs will be entry-level sales and service jobs, said Dina Pon, manager of GEICO insurance in Coralville. The company already employs 300 people in Coraville.
“We’re growing our service operation,” Pon said. “‘Essentially, we have a need for service professionals.”
On-the-job training will be available for the jobs, which will have a base wage of $12.97 an hour.
