Westrope recently announced the creation of its Transportation Division, which will be located in its Kansas City, Mo. office.The new wholesale broker team will service all of Westrope’s clients, primarily focusing on securing the placement of insurance for all aspects of high-risk commercial transportation, including trucking, garage, paratransit, livery and fleet.
“Our commitment to our customers dictates that we continually broaden our product portfolio. This makes adding a Transportation Division a logical step for Westrope,” said Kevin Westrope, president/CEO and founder of of the company.
Westrope named the team selected for the Transportation Division. Brad Stubbendieck joins the new division as the team leader and broker. Stubbendieck has over 15 years of transportation insurance experience.
Stephanie Woltemath has transitioned from her current role as a casualty broker and joins the team as a transportation broker, capitalizing on her prior experience on both the retail and wholesale sides of the transportation business, the Westrope release said.
Sandy Shue with more than 25 years experience, joins the team as the transportation client manager. .
Westrope identifies itself as ranked among the top five largest privately held wholesale insurance brokers in the United States.
