Edina, Minn.-based the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), recentlyl announced the addition of Leslie Wiernik as director of Education.
Wiernik is a past president of NASP and has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance, subrogation and legal industries. She was previously the national subrogation manager for Crum & Forster Insurance and has worked in multi-line claims for both personal and commercial lines carriers. She earned a paralegal degree in 1993, specializing in insurance litigation and was instrumental in creating subrogation initiatives and client development strategies for several subrogation companies.
Wiernik has spoken at insurance conferences and has conducted numerous training classes for carriers and risk managers on benchmarking, best practices and the benefits of subrogation.
