Hylant Group, the nation’s seventh largest privately held commercial insurance brokerage, recently named Patrick Savage as the regional chief operating officer in Michigan. His position will serve Hylant’s offices in Detroit, Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids, and he will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and consistency at the three offices, as well as at the corporate level.
Savage will be responsible for aligning corporate resources to maximize productivity through the establishment and execution of proficient processes, while managing the personnel needed to achieve Hylant Group’s goals. He will also oversee financial planning, forecast management and cost accounting for the region, while significantly contributing to the long-term growth strategies of Hylant Group.
Prior to joining Hylant Group in Ann Arbor, Mich. more than ten years ago as controller, Savage was the sales audit supervisor for Borders Group Inc. and a certified public accountant for Deloitte.
