Western National’s Henderson Elected to Advisory Group’s Board of Directors

Edina, Minn.-based Western National Insurance Group today announced that Stuart Henderson, J.D., CPCU, president and CEO of Western National Insurance Group, was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) as of its annual meeting held April 20-22, 2008. Henderson joins the 10-member board as its sole newly elected member for 2008.

AAIS, based in Wheaton, Ill., is a national insurance advisory organization that develops standardized policy forms and rating information used by more than 600 property/casualty companies throughout the U.S.

Western National Insurance Group is a super-regional insurance group writing over $243 million in direct premium annually with over $211 million in policyholder surplus. The group consists of four regional property and casualty insurance companies with shared administrative offices in Edina and a local underwriting and claim office in Seattle, Wash.
