Assurance Agency Ltd., based in Schaumburg, Ill., has added Robert Dufkis, to serve clients in the areas of both property and casualty, and employee benefits.
Dufkis has 18 years of insurance industry experience, and has worked with Illinois municipalities, educational institutions and public transportation agencies, as well as mid-sized private companies throughout the country.
Prior to joining Assurance, Dufkis was a managing director at Mesirow Financial for six years. Before joining Mesirow, Dufkis held a position as senior vice president in the public sector division of a major regional insurance brokerage firm. He also has served as a senior casualty specialist at Travelers where he managed litigated commercial liability claims for clients.
