Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA Inc. has named John Meder regional managing director for its Midwest region, which includes Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri. Meder will be based in Cleveland, Ohio, and report to Kevin Kenny, East area brokerage manager for Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Meder was head of Wachovia Insurance Services’ Ohio operations and also led the company’s real estate industry practice. Prior to joining Wachovia, he was senior vice president and member of the executive committee for the Ohio operations of Marsh, where he held various positions including client executive, middle market department manager, and Cleveland sales leader.
Meder is past president of the Central Ohio Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society and served as a society director to the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
