Insurer CNA Financial Corp. has appointed Michael Strakhov as vice president of its Ohio branch, located in Columbus. Strakhov is responsible for synchronizing branch operations with CNA’s strategic goals for long-term success, including increasing local authority at the point of sale and improving service to agents and brokers in this territory.
Strakhov joins CNA from First Niagara Risk Management in Rochester, N.Y., where he served as vice president of its field operations. Prior to this, he held various leadership positions in business development, sales, underwriting and branch management at The Chubb Company. He began his career at Hatch-Leonard/Markin Shaw as a claim adjuster.
