National Interstate Insurance Co., a Richfield, Ohio-based provider of transportation insurance, announced that effective Jan. 1, 2013, it will complement its long-standing captive fuel distribution business by offering a new traditional insurance program.
The new fuel distribution program will focus on best-in-class residential propane and fuel dealers with a commitment to safety and strong risk management practices. Coverage options include auto liability, general liability, auto physical damage, workers’ compensation, property and excess umbrella. Crime and inland marine coverages are also available upon request.
National Interstate will market the program through a network of retail agents and brokers with experience in the fuel distribution industry.
