Scott Names has been hired as vice president — chief information officer (CIO) at Merrill, Wisc.-based Church Mutual Insurance Co.
Former CIO Chris Graham has been named vice president — chief technology officer. He has served as CIO at the company since 1997.
Names has been in the insurance industry for the past 20 years, including the last three years at Zurich Insurance Ltd. in Schaumburg, Ill. He has been head of planning and performance management — North America since June of 2011. Prior to that, he was head of finance operations — Americas.
He also previously worked for Liberty Mutual Group/Wausau Insurance Companies with stints as market financial manager, assistant vice president business systems and operations and chief financial officer.
Names has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
Graham was an officer at a Milwaukee-based insurance company before joining Church Mutual.
