Rockhill Insurance Group, based in Kansas City, Mo., announced it has hired Doug Goode as chief operating officer.
Goode has more than 25 years of industry experience and most recently was a senior vice president with QBE North America in charge of sales strategy and new business processes. He previously spent time at Rockhill helping to form the company during its start-up mode, becoming familiar with its people and culture.
In his new role, Goode will lead and direct all marketing, business development and specialty underwriting functions, and will play a key role in policy formation and overall company strategy, reporting to Senior Vice President Jessica Buss.
Rockhill is a subsidiary of the State Auto Group.
