Chicago-based insurer, CNA, appointed David Lim as assistant vice president, management liability zone leader for the Northern Zone. In this role, Lim is responsible for providing overall underwriting expertise for the public and private company management liability book of business in the company’s Northern Zone branches.
He reports to Steve Wachtel, senior vice president and Northern Zone officer.
Lim has 13 years of industry experience. He joins CNA from Chubb, where he served as assistant vice president for the California region and managed a team of underwriters to achieve profitability, growth and strategic objectives. Prior to that role, he served as senior multinational specialist and regional underwriting officer. Lim began his career at Travelers.
