Sutherland Joins XL Catlin as a North Central Regional Leader in Chicago

XL Catlin has added Todd Sutherland in Chicago as its new regional leader, US North Central.

Sutherland will lead the regional Broker and Client Management team in Chicago, working with XL Catlin brokers and clients throughout the North Central region of the US, to give them easy access XL Catlin’s multi-line property, casualty, professional and specialty insurance coverages, claims expertise, and risk management services. He reports to Robert Peretti, XL Catlin’s Head of Broker & Client Management in North America.

Sutherland joins XL Catlin from Allied World where he led a Chicago-based team in developing and implementing a national distribution plan to grow profitably throughout the region. His 25-year insurance industry career includes tenure with Axis Capital, Kemper Insurance, and AIG.

XL Catlin’s North Central Region consists of 12 states including Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kentucky and West Virginia.
