Deerfield, Illinois-based Alera Group, a national employee benefits, property/casualty, risk management and wealth management firm, has appointed Jim Blue as president.
Blue’s responsibilities will involve working closely with the existing leadership team to focus on revenue growth and integration of new Alera Group firms. In this role he will develop and execute strategic initiatives with a focus on sales, cross marketing collaboration and carrier relationships.
Blue was formerly the CEO of Marsh & McLennan Agency New England, where he helped grow a small, local firm into a national hub.
