Alliant Adds Merchant to Employee Benefits Team in Illinois

Employee benefits expert Shaan Merchant has joined Alliant Insurance Services in Bannockburn, Illinois, as first vice president.

Merchant has experience designing and delivering employee benefits solutions that lower healthcare costs while bolstering operational strength. This includes a background in cost-benefit analysis, funding, financial management and forecasting. He also has expertise in strategic planning, process improvement and operations.

Prior to joining Alliant, Merchant was a senior vice president with a national insurance and employee benefits consulting firm.
