Columbia Insurance Group, headquartered in Columbia, Missouri, has appointed Julie Rinehart as vice president – Human Resources.
Rinehart has served as employee development specialist since joining the company in 2014. In her new role, Rinehart will assume responsibility in the areas of organizational development, employee relations, employee engagement and satisfaction, and compensation and benefit analysis.
As vice president of Human Resources, Rinehart succeeds Steve Lubbering who is retiring after 34 years with Columbia Insurance Group.
Prior to joining Columbia Insurance Group, Rinehart held human resources roles in higher education. She currently serves on the board of the Missouri Society of Human Resource Management and is the immediate past-president of the Human Resource Association of Central Missouri.
Columbia Insurance Group provides comprehensive property and casualty insurance to policyholders in 14 states.
