Deerfield, Ill.-based insurance and financial services firm, Alera Group, has acquired Specialized Insurance Services Agency Inc. (SISA), an independent insurance agency headquartered in Milford, Michigan.
SISA provides professional liability insurance for doctors, dentists and lawyers and protections such employment practices liability, directors and officers, cyber/regulatory affairs and workers’ compensation for business owners.
Additionally, SISA works as an insurance concierge helping high-net worth individuals assess their unique risks on the personal insurance spectrum and offers custom solutions designed with higher limits, specialized art and jewelry coverages, world travel protection and collector’s coverage.
The SISA team will continue serving clients in their existing roles.
