Great American Insurance Launches Product for Home-Based Businesses

Cincinnati, Ohio-based Great American Insurance Group launched a new product offering designed for home-based businesses.

The new product, HomeHQ, is an expansion of Great American’s online offering for small business owners, PolicySweet.

HomeHQ offers coverage for business liabilities that a homeowners or renters policy does not typically include.

HomeHQ coverage from PolicySweet is designed for home-based businesses with four or fewer employees, and includes the following coverage:

• Business Liability Insurance: It may protect against third-party bodily injury, associated medical costs and legal claims filed against your business.
• Business Property Insurance: It could protect your business from loss due to fire, wind and more. Property liability insurance replaces business property caused by a covered loss.
• Business Stock Insurance: It may cover the cost of replacing business inventory or merchandise in the event that it is lost, stolen or damaged.

HomeHQ policies are underwritten by Great American Insurance Company, Great American Assurance Company, Great American Alliance Insurance Company, and Great American Insurance Company of New York, authorized insurers in all 50 states and the D.C.
