Foster White of Monticello and New Ulm, Minnesota has been acquired by Christensen Group Insurance (CG) based in Eden Prairie. Foster White has been owned locally for over 50 years and joining Christensen Group to become employee-owned was a way for owners, Jake Olinger and Tony Larson, to secure the local ownership far into the future.
Founded in 1952, and 100 percent employee-owned, Christensen Group strives to achieve growth without sacrificing their culture, entrepreneurial mindset, or financial excellence. Over the past seven decades, CG has grown from a small family-owned insurance agency in Minneapolis to a Top 100 independent insurance brokerage in the country.
The 21 employees from Foster White joining the CG team brings the employee count to over 200 employee- owners. Christensen Group Insurance now has seven locations in Minnesota (Alexandria, Bemidji, Duluth, Eden Prairie, Monticello, New Ulm, and Waite Park) and two national offices located in Kansas City, Kansas and Austin, Texas.
