
JM Wilson, headquartered in Portage, Michigan, hired Gina Deryas as a transportation renewal underwriter and Brian Bragg as a transportation underwriter. JM Wilson team member Joe Delaney was promoted to transportation underwriter.
Deryas is responsible for underwriting renewal commercial transportation accounts, corresponding with carrier underwriters, and maintaining relationships with independent agents in Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. Before joining JM Wilson, She spent three years as a new business underwriter at Brewer Insurance Group.

Bragg’s responsibilities include underwriting a wide variety of new and renewal commercial transportation risks, as well as nurturing relationships with carrier underwriters and independent insurance agents in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and the eastern U.S. Bragg joins JM Wilson with over eight years of experience as a commercial underwriting specialist, including roles as commercial motor carrier underwriter at AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. and motor carrier underwriting specialist at Auto-Owners Insurance.

Delaney’s responsibilities include underwriting a wide variety of commercial transportation accounts and maintaining relationships with carriers and independent insurance agents in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He joined JM Wilson in 2023 as an assistant transportation underwriter.
