
Encova Insurance, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, hired Ramu Lingala as the successor to Tony Laska, executive vice president and chief information officer. Laska announced his plans for retirement at the end of 2025 last year. Lingala joined Encova in February. Laska will now serve in an advisory role through the end of the year.
As chief information officer, Lingala will lead technology teams, collaborate with Encova business teams to enable enterprise strategy and work closely with technology leaders and teams to validate roadmaps and delivery. Lingala has 25 years of experience as an IT executive and most recently served as vice president of business lines technology for Liberty Mutual. He has directed large transformation programs and transformed IT operating models.
