Almost 3,000 independent agents are signed up to use Travelers’ Issue Express Net, a web-based quote, rate and issuance system for small business insurance, a sure sign, the company said, that many agents are embracing the Internet.
“The fact that so many agents have signed up for this system speaks volumes to our agents’ interest in using the Internet and Internet technology to speed their business processes,” said Patrick Kinney, vice president of sales and marketing for select accounts, the division of Travelers providing small business insurance.
Issue Express Net is just one component in an integrated small business system for independent agents. The other components include a single-entry, multiple-company interface process for real-time quoting through agency management systems; public web access; and a service center.
