Insurance Reference Systems Inc. (Silver Plume), an AMS company, announced the introduction of Sage, a web-based, intelligent research tool that uses an insurance-specific, Internet-style engine to search its library of industry profiles, coverage analyses, available markets, program descriptions, and more.
Designed around insurance and risk management information, Sage helps agents remain knowledgeable about coverages, risks, industries, and products, thereby understanding their customers risk-related needs more completely. The product is specific to the support of a producer’s sales process in account rounding and new business acquisition. Since the content and functionality of Sage reside online, there is no software to purchase or download; and the product requires no training.
For risk and market analysis, Sage provides commercial lines coverage analysis, industry descriptions, classification cross references, coverage checklists, risk surveys, and recommended coverages. For market information, Sage provides company program detail, program guides, available markets, market news, and ACORD forms. For sales and marketing support, Sage provides brochure and proposal templates, form letters, and a customizable library of optional reference content from respected industry publishers.
Silver Plume is a provider of electronic insurance and risk-reference material to more than 3,000 agencies, brokers, insurance companies, reinsurers, and corporate risk managers.
