IIAA Hawaii InfoXchange to Proceed as Planned

October 4, 2001

The Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) is proceeding with plans for its Hawaii InfoXchange later this month, announced IIAA President William F. Hofmann III.

The IIAA Hawaii InfoXchange is slated for Oct. 27-30 at the Sheraton Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii. More than 1,500 industry professionals are expected to attend the Big “I” annual meeting.

Barring any new unforeseen events, IIAA anticipates its InfoXchange will be held as planned. “President Bush is urging all Americans, to the extent possible, to resume their normal business activities. In keeping with the President’s request, IIAA’s Hawaii InfoXchange will proceed as planned,” Hofmann stated. “After careful consideration, IIAA feels that moving forward with its meeting is the best way to pay tribute to those affected by the terrorist attacks. Independent agents and brokers will use the InfoXchange as an opportunity to display resolve and solidarity to their colleagues, industry peers and the public.”

The IIAA annual meeting will include a wide variety of technology workshops; innovative continuing-education classes; new Best Practices opportunities; a series of prominent speakers; the launch of IIAA’s new brand — Trusted Choice; one of the largest exhibit halls in the insurance industry; the IIAA Sales School with Russ Granger; a Professional Seminar Series with Ken Blanchard, author of One Minute Manager; the Young Agents Leadership Conference; and many other exciting features.

The 26th Annual Young Agents Leadership Conference will be held Oct. 26-28, prior to IIAA’s Hawaii InfoXchange.
