Product Available to Help Agents Go Online, on Budget

August 23, 2002

The Insurance Web Wizard, a new program created by industry veteran Keith Snow, is now available to help agents build a stronger presence on the Internet.

“Large commercial consumers down to America’s smallest main street businesses want to know their insurance agent is up-to-speed on cyberspace liability issues,” Snow said. “Yet, only 42 percent of independent agents in the U.S. have a Web site presence”.

The Insurance Web Wizard takes agents through a series of questions about their agency and uses the information to build a customized Web site for their agency. Agents can select the pages they’d like for their Web site such as the company’s history, products and services or testimonials from key clients. The Wizard also allows agents to include their company logo and agent photographs, with four professionally designed templates and eight color schemes to give agents 32 design options.

Once the online questionnaire is complete, agents can preview their site and rerun the Wizard if they’d like to make changes to some of their original answers. If agents are satisfied with their site, they can purchase it for a flat fee of $500 with a $35 monthly hosting fee. Agents may rerun the Wizard anytime to update their site for no additional charge.
