Strategic Insurance Software, Inc., S.I.S., and Connective Technologies, Inc. announced the creation of a working partnership to provide agents with a robust affordable upload solution.
The integration between S.I.S.’s SEMCI PARTNERĀ® agency management system and Connective’s TEAM-UP product provides the capability for agents to export and upload data from their management system to any number of carriers (or third party data providers) directly from SEMCI PARTNERĀ®. The integration is seamless and does not require any changes to the agency software or workflow. The TEAM-UP components provide the SEMCI bridge to the carriers. TEAM-UP carriers can now offer upload to their SIS agents and, in many cases, provide the ability to upload transactions and get a quote or issue a policy in less that a minute.
On the carrier side, TEAM-UP integrates S.I.S.’s data with existing carrier front-end web sites, expert underwriting, and policy management systems. TEAM-UP provides secure, encrypted Internet transmissions of S.I.S extract files. The TEAM-UP solution uses SSL for encryption and LDAP (or NT Authentication) for authentication so the data remains secure.
Once the file has reached the carrier, TEAM-UP has extensive integration capabilities built on IBM’s WebSphere (Eclipse) platform so that it is possible to re-use a carrier’s existing processing infrastructure for such things as real-time rating and issuance.
