Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP has added three senior insurance transactional and regulatory lawyers to the firm’s New York office.
Nancy Corbett has joined Sidley as a partner. Accompanying her as counsel are F. Sedgwick (Sed) Browne, and Charlene McHugh. All three come to Sidley from the New York office of Morgan Lewis & Bockius, where Corbett led the insurance practice group.
“Nancy Corbett, Sed Browne and Charlene McHugh mark a welcome expansion of our international insurance practice in New York and enhance our ability to serve the increasingly complex needs of financial services clients,” said George Petrow, a member of Sidley’s Management Committee in New York. “Combined with our already substantial capital markets, insurance and financial practices, the new group provides specialized skills that our domestic and international clients will need tomorrow, as the financial industry continues to evolve.”
Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP has approximately 1,450 lawyers practicing in North America, Europe and Asia.
