Travelers Property Casualty is now offering its independent agents an Internet batch download system for boat and yacht insurance policies. With this new capability, agencies do not need to re-key policy information into their agency management systems – the process happens automatically overnight.
“Our new download capability is an exciting enhancement to our existing real-time capabilities for processing boat and yacht insurance policies,” Chantal Cyr, director of boat and yacht insurance, remarked. “This new capability frees agencies from re-keying policy information into their agency management systems, saving them valuable time.”
The download capability is the most recent enhancement to the company’s technology capabilities for boat and yacht insurance.
Agencies can also upload completed policy applications to Travelers. Additionally, agencies can print a quote letter or a completed application. The capabilities are available through Travelers’ boat and yacht Web site (www.travelers.com) located on the company’s agency portal, called Agent HQ.
Currently, four agency management system providers have certified the download.
