State National Companies recently announced two additional authorizations for State National Specialty Insurance Company (SNS).
In April, the state of Maine granted SNS approval to write fire, allied lines, inland marine, other liability, auto liability and auto physical damage. Colorado granted SNS approval in May to write general casualty, motor vehicle (casualty), general property and motor vehicle (property). Earlier this spring, SNS and State National Insurance Company (SNIC), pooled subsidiaries of State National Companies, were assigned an “A” (Excellent) rating by A.M. Best.
The 19th new authorization for State National Specialty Insurance company following its acquisition by State National Companies in 1999, the company is now authorized in 40 states and the District of Columbia. SNIC is licensed in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
