AMS Services, Inc. announced that State Auto Insurance Companies, which services 26 states, has joined TransactNOW(TM), becoming the 17th carrier to participate.
Introduced this past March at the AMS National Users’ Group Conference, TransactNOW(TM) is AMS’s newest interface offering that enables AMS management system customers to process business transactions with carriers via a real-time single-entry workflow, without having to leave their system. Transactions available today are personal and commercial lines billing, claims and policy view inquiry.
“We’re pleased to provide this workflow-enhancing service for our many agency partners with AMS management systems,” said Noreen Johnson, vice president of Information Technologies at State Auto. “Our agent portal, AgentSite, is regularly used by thousands of agency personnel every day, and we believe the addition of TransactNOW(TM) will further increase company and agency productivity.”
TransactNOW(TM) uses ACORD standards and XML technology to integrate carrier web site functionality into agency management system workflow. This means transactions and carriers can be rapidly added, and agents can rapidly deploy. Developed in close cooperation with The AMS Users’ Group, TransactNOW(TM) is available to agencies using all AMS management system products.
