Travelers Property Casualty received two achievement awards for its leadership position in the implementation of interface technology at the Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) annual conference in New Orleans last week.
Applied Systems, Inc. recognized Travelers with its Interface Best Practices Award for leading the advancement of interface, which provides agents and brokers with standardized workflows for managing multi-company insurance sales, service, and renewals directly from within their agency management systems.
Travelers also received the Transformation Station Commercial Lines Quote Award from ASCnet, the user group of Applied Systems agency management technology.
Travelers most recently added Personal Lines Policy Summary and Billing Inquiry to the existing e-services currently available to independent agents. PL Policy Summary enables agents to view, print and save insurance policies in real-time without leaving their management system.
Likewise, real-time billing inquiry allows agents to view their clients’ billing information without having to log on to a separate proprietary system or calling Travelers. These real-time transactions are processed through IVANS Transformation Station, a managed Internet data exchange using Web services and ACORD XML.
