nuServe, a privately-held risk-management tools provider, has joined ACORD, the insurance industry’s global standards
association, announced nuServe CEO Kai Tamara Hare.
nuServe’s risk management products are Web-based software-using ACORD forms, ACORD XML standards and Web Services to provide commercial risk management professionals with easy-to-use expert tools, Hare said. Agents, wholesalers and managing general agents using nuServe’s integrated system can increase quote processing from submission to bind. “nuServe’s one-click multi-coverage identifiers are used by agents in building total risk coverage portfolios for clients. Our tools are built to improve overhead efficiency so our customers can spend more valuable time advising and consulting,” she said.
“We welcome nuServe, which supports the insurance industry’s mission of straight-through processing and reduced key strokes using standards,” said ACORD President and CEO Gregory A. Maciag. “This is another example of how agents, brokers, risk managers and carriers are leveraging data in standard format with third-party vendors.”
