Vertafore, Inc., a provider of software, services and information for the property and casualty insurance industry, has acquired Custom Insurance Solutions LLC of San Antonio, Texas. CIS sells management system products to the managing general agent and
wholesale brokerage markets.
Under the agreement, CIS will operate as a separate business unit of Vertafore, and Eric Winch assumes the role of president of CIS reporting directly to Euan Menzies, CEO of Vertafore.
“The addition of CIS to our group will allow us to deliver new value-added products and services to our customers and to the market at large,” said Menzies.
