As a retirned Personal Lines Und. after 23 years of service, the only way to help correct this problem is for the Ins. Co’s to upgrade their computer systems to diary policy’s for when children in the household will reach driving age, spend money to do “Class Checks” to verify miles driven and members of the household. With all the downsizing that Ins. Co’s have done, very few Ins. Companies have any experienced Underwriters left that know how to deal with these “problems”.
