The Executive Committee of the Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet), the user group for Applied Systems agency management technology, announced that Linn Wheeling has been named executive director.
Wheeling, who has more than 10 years of association management experience, previously served as the manager of community and component relations for the Project Management Institute (PMI) where she oversaw eight employees, a $2.5 million budget, and worked closely with more than 300 chapters representing more than 200,000 members. She also developed and implemented PMI’s Leadership Development Program – a major new initiative of the organization.
Prior to her position with PMI, Wheeling was the association account executive for a management firm serving the Oracle Applications User Group and the i2 User Group.
She is an active participant in the American Society of Association Executives and currently serves on the ASAE Component Relations Section Council.
