Darryl Siry has been promoted to senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, according to Joe Beneducci, executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Siry has most recently served as vice president of brand development. In that role, he led the establishment of Fireman’s Fund Heritage, a branding and community relations program that is building the brand of Fireman’s Fund and its independent agents by partnering with the fire service nationwide to protect the communities they serve. Through this program, which was initiated in 2004, more than $5 million in grants have been donated to fire service organizations nationwide.
Siry is responsible for the Heritage program, marketing, communications, community relations, customer research and strategy, and certain strategic business development initiatives. With this appointment, Siry also joins the company’s strategic advisory group.
Siry joined Fireman’s Fund in 1997 from Mercer Management Consulting where he served as a strategic advisor to financial services companies. Previous positions held at Fireman’s Fund include vice president, customer research and strategy, and vice president, marketing services.
