RLI Corp. has promoted Carol Denzer to vice president, chief information officer, and Chad Berberich to assistant vice president, reinsurance and catastrophe management.
Denzer, a graduate of St. Cloud State University, began her RLI career in 1987 as a reinsurance accountant. She was promoted to a variety of accounting and reinsurance positions, and in 2004 was named vice president, reinsurance and catastrophe management.
Berberich started at RLI in 2003 as director, executive products. He was promoted to manager, home office underwriting in 2005. In his new position he will be responsible for the procurement and maintenance of ceded reinsurance programs and management of corporate catastrophe exposures. Berberich served six years at Travelers Insurance in Naperville, Ill., as manager, commercial risk.
