W. R. Berkley Corporation announced that Berkley Specialty Underwriting Managers LLC has formed a new division that will offer specialty insurance products for environmental contractors, consultants and site specific facility risks.
Robert J. Patterson has been named vice president of the new division, which will operate out of Berkley Specialty’s headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. Patterson has over 25 years of environmental underwriting experience.
W. R. Berkley Corporation is an insurance holding company that operates in five segments of the property casualty insurance business: specialty insurance, regional property casualty insurance, alternative markets, reinsurance, and international.
