Travelers announced that its construction unit has expanded its appetite to include a wider range of bridge builders.
Bridge contractor customers can now benefit from an underwriting team able to write all lines of business, as well as Travelers risk control expertise.
Travelers can provide coverage to bridge contractors that have 20 or more employees. Eligible contractors may also perform secondary operations such as street and road construction.
Special coverages available to both large and small customers include Railroad Protective coverage, Owners and Contractors Protective coverage, Professional Liability for accounts with design/build exposures, as well as Pollution Liability coverage. Moreover, Travelers has personnel familiar with the U.S. Longshore & Harbor Workers Act, enabling resolution of these types of workers compensation claims.
