Novato, Calif.-based Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. has endorsed a program for insurance agents errors and omissions (Agents E&O) coverage with Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA), known as the Big “I”, in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This program expansion is the result of the positive reception from Big “I” members, the company said.
Agents E&O coverage provides professional liability coverage for agents, such as protecting agents in the event they fail to provide a specific coverage or provide any coverage at all. Coverage includes:
-Liability limit options of up to $10 million
-Deductible options from $1,000 to $50,000
-Expanded definition of who is an insured, including spousal liability
-Catastrophe claims extra expense with no additional premium: $10,000/$25,000
-Regulatory investigation defense: $25,000
-Supplementary defense expense payments: $250 per day
-Cost of expert witness testimony
-Seamless quote issuance
