Swett & Crawford announced that as a result of an exclusive partnership with Internex CT LLC, it has expanded its global platform for risk placement expertise and support to the commercial insurance marketplace worldwide. With this new capability, Swett & Crawford, has added worldwide resources in 125 countries.
“Our alliance with Internex is part of our strategy to continually bring the best knowledge, product offerings and market access to our clients,” said J. Neal Abernathy, president and CEO of Swett & Crawford. “Internex broadens the resources we have to offer our clients and their customers.”
Internex adds to Swett & Crawford an International Wholesale Division support staff and offers their agent/broker clients product knowledge, placement services and relationships with key international markets based both in the United States and abroad, along with access to resources in over 100 countries.
Swett & Crawford, a 93-year old firm with 35 offices across the United States, issues more than 100,000 policies and generates $2.7 billion in premium on an annual basis through its retailer broker clients.
Internex CT, established in June 2006, is a division of Internex LLC, based in Rhode Island, (formerly M&C International.) Internex brings a seasoned staff of insurance professionals with over 60 years of international underwriting and brokerage expertise to the new Swett & Crawford relationship.
