Manhasset, N.Y.-based NIF Group, Inc., a program administrator and specialty brokerage firm, recently announced that NOVA Casualty will offer a new market for social service agencies. NIF Group will underwrite the program on behalf of NOVA Casualty.
“Given our commitment to the nonprofit social service niche’ and our retail distribution, we feel expanding our market will enhance our value to our retail brokers and agents,” explained Dan Mogelnicki, senior vice president of Underwriting for NIF Group. NOVA Casualty is an additional carrier to Safeco in NIF’s portfolio of nonprofit social service products.
The program offers property, general liability, sexual molestation and professional liability including the ability to insure medical professionals. All business is written on an admitted basis.
The product is currently available in Ariz., Calif., D.C., Fla., Ga., M.D., Mich., Minn., Mo., N.J., N.M., N.Y., Ore., Penn., Texas, Utah, and Wis. NIF Group and NOVA plan to expand the program to other states.
