U.S. Risk Underwriters, a subsidiary of U.S. Risk Insurance Group, Inc., will relocate four programs currently operated by the U.S. Risk subsidiary, Lighthouse Underwriters.
The programs – ElderCare, StaffPak, PLPros and TAKE 1 – will be relocated to U.S. Risk Underwriter facilities, but continue to be marketed under the Lighthouse Underwriters name.
“These moves will help us improve service and tap into existing underwriting expertise within U.S. Risk,” said Art Seifert, president of U.S. Risk Underwriters.
Lighthouse ElderCare will move to Boston Insurance Brokerage Inc., a Boston-based subsidiary of U.S. Risk. Kevin Mordarski has been named program manager of ElderCare. Mordarski has five years in health care underwriting at AIG among his experience. He most recently served as a senior broker at Boston Insurance Brokerage. To ensure a smooth transition, ElderCare business will continue to be serviced in Annandale, Va., until the Boston office assumes all program responsibilities.
StaffPak, an insurance program for the staffing industry, will move to Dallas and Peter Stanislaw will continue as the program manager.
PLPros, the professional liability program, will become part of the Dallas-based PLPros team led by Jeff Fields.
TAKE 1, a program for the entertainment industry, will make its full transition to the U.S. Risk office in Irvine, Calif., over the next three months. TAKE 1 Program Director Scott Carroll is located in the Irvine office.
All relocations are expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 2008.
