What a great idea! Wish it was around when my son was first licensed. Despite talking until I was “blue in the face” he learned the hard way – with a couple of speeding tickets. Great way to keep track of your teenagers!

    hell-o-o-o-o???
what’s it; that Safeco can’t produce enuf prem writing a standard book of auto that they have to write the 16-21 age band; regretably, the worst performing age-band in the industry
Maybe they’ll start writing unprotected frame sawmills.
Then, even I will call them

I heard that it wasn’t selling all that much as the cost was high. My Sales Pro was trying to get the app on the whole family and not just the young driver, but Safecos rates were too high in many insatances. You can just get the teensurance part, but they really don’t want that-they want you to steer the clients to Safecos insurance which is understandable, bnut when combined withthe cost for teensurance and their auto, it just didn’t make sense $$$$ wise. Auto-owners is far more competitive.

We learned about this product from Nascar and it is so superior in safety to all the other basic gps and speed units…this unit, called tiwi…go to http://www.tiwi.com.

speed is provided per the street speed limit not just telling you they are over a set speed limit

    seat belt notification

talks to the teen as they are driving “you are exceeding the posted speed limit” etc etc.

the best yet is it has an emergency call feature so teh parent can call the teen from their home and speak through the unit to the child and the child pushses one button to get an operator who connects them to the parent or others.

emails, texts and calls the parent if the child is not obeying rules YOU set.

it is wild and can be used as a BIG BROTHER, however, more than that, it talks to the teen and guides them…big advantage NO others have.
