The Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) issued its Call for Entries for the 2009 IMCA Showcase Awards, which takes place during IMCA’s Annual Meeting in Seattle in late June.
IMCA Showcase Awards recognize the best examples of insurance marketing and communications to encourage even higher standards of excellence. Last year’s awards garnered 325 entries from companies of all sizes, with “Best of Show” winners including Liberty Mutual, Farmer’s Insurance Group and The Hartford Insurance Group.
All insurance-related firms can enter the competition. It is not limited to IMCA members.
The 2009 awards feature 34 categories, including advertising, sales promotion, multimedia campaigns, TV/radio, the Internet, employee communications, annual reports, e-commerce, community service and public relations. Submissions are accepted from insurance entities of all types and sizes, including insurers, reinsurers, intermediaries, brokers and others. In addition, the IMCA “SAMMY” Award is presented each year to the one entry deemed best overall by voting attendees at the IMCA Annual Meeting.
Entries are now being accepted for the 2009 competition. The deadline for entry forms, fees and materials is April 3, 2009. To enter, go to www.imcanet.com and download the IMCA Showcase Awards Brochure and Entry Forms.
The IMCA Annual Meeting will be held June 28 – July 1, 2009 at the Hyatt at Olive 8 in Seattle.
