Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Inc. has acquired iLeader Risk Management Solutions, a single office, insurance brokerage located in Tampa, Fla., and Orca Bay Benefits, LLC, a single office, employee benefits insurance brokerage located in Mercer Island, Wash.
The separate acquisitions closed Dec. 1. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
iLeader’s Michael Ortoll, managing principal and CEO; Barbara Hoffman, account executive; and Oriana Collins, account manager, will join Wells Fargo Insurance Services.
Florida–based iLeader has been serving customers since 2005. The company provides risk management services and insurance brokerage solutions to industries such as healthcare, professional employee organization PEO/staffing, transportation, retail, hospitality and private equity.
Serving customers in Washington since 2001, Orca Bay provides employee benefits services including healthcare reimbursement arrangements (HRAs), healthcare savings accounts (HSAs), individual and large group medical insurance plans, and a full range of value added benefits services.
Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Inc. has 200 offices in 37 states. Its 9,200 insurance professionals place $15.5 billion of premiums.
