I would be curious to know how many people that go on disability before age 62 work in construction trades. A large percentage of my customers that are involved in heavy industrial construction – particularly welders go on disability and require increased medical care before reaching age 60. These are people that take care of themselves but, the physical demands of their occupation simply wear out the body faster than average. I remember IJ having another article on this some time back and it does relate to the article at hand.
