Michigan-based Highstreet Insurance Partners has acquired the Mitchell Agency, headquartered in Largo, Florida, near St. Petersburg.
Highstreet said in a news release that the Florida agency and its eight employees will be under the direction of Gulf Regional President Vin Stazzone.
Highstreet was founded in 2018 and has expanded steadily across the country through mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. In July, Highstreet continued its Gulf Region expansion with the acquisition of Flagler Insurance Agency in Palm Beach, Florida.
Mitchell Agency has been in business for more than 70 years, offering business, home and flood insurance products.
