Goes along good w/ this story: All the woman in an office are suing thier boss for sexual harassement. But since one employee wasnt sexually harassed she is suing her boss for discrimination. LOL just an afternoon funny. Happy Friday
Key word, she was DISTRACTING. It’s not her beauty but her wearing and baring that distracted both co-workers and patrons. What ever the distraction is, provactive clothes, bad breath or weeping cold sore, if it inhibits your ability to be effective your boss should have the right to ask you to wear a bra, brush your teeth, see a doctor….
funny how we have seen an article where the hooters gal got fired because she could not fit the clothes properly, now this one because she looks so good, they remove her… now you can look good and still have folks admiring her, but you can’t fire her! she just needs to have the proper clothing and still look great.
I never knew beautiful, sexy women had their own protected class under civil rights laws. Most jobs are “at will” and employers can terminate for whatever reason they want.
Saw the video on this morning’s news. Get over yourself! She is not that great. Another baseless lawsuit. We really need some laws passed about frivilous suits and passing those costs back to the plaintiff for filing the suit.
Problem is we have those laws in place their just never enforced by the courts. Every time I try to get costs/fees from a plaintiff attorney, the judge just give our counsel a “yeah right” look. No matter how frivolous it may seem. It’s not just one state either but every state I’ve had to hire counsel in. So the famous phrase Fuddgedaboutit comes to mind.
Far as Ms. Lorenzana is concerned, well I have to admit, she’s not bad. Once she gets that reality show, we’ll see.
Too many guys out there who cannot control themselves around nice looking women. If what she says is true, I hope she wins every penny…
Tx Lady. What are YOU looking at??
Hot or ugly, appropriate dress attire is expected. Was she unfairly discrimnated against? I find it hard to believe that the boss just came in and said, “I’m sorry you are too hot to work here.” I work in a cubicle and rarely see anyone besides coworkers. If I wore a belly shirt (and believe me that wouldn’t be pretty), my company would take disciplinary action. I hope that we get more details on this case. If she was wearing inappropriate clothes, I have no problem. If she was appropriately dressed and her boss had a drooling problem, perhaps her claims have merit. Let’s see the evidence. And btw, turtlenecks can still be inappropriate for the workplace.
OK people, she is a hottie, but I have worked with as good and better. I called it an “environmentally friendly” workplace before the term became popular with its current meaning. Our HR director was one of the hotties, was as inconspicuously dressed as possible, but was still obviously hot.
We had some complaining guys, so I told them to grow up and shut up or the company would clamp down on the dress code. We handled it and did not lose our “fringe benefits”.
Word got out that I quieted the whiners, and the women stopped by my office frequently to ask if they were “acceptable”. I dated some of them and married one of them.
I think employers have a right to enforce some sort of dress code in a business office. Women who wear overtly provocative and sexual clothing to a business office could be considered to be sexually harrassing the other employees.
Every office I’ve worked at has had at least one… how come every woman in the office can dress professionally except for the one or two that feel the need to dress like they’re on the way out the door to a trendy nightclub in Vegas? This is an office, not a brothel.
I have worked with some extremely zaftig ladies and some flaming lads, some less than handsome ladies and some ugly dudes, and have never heard a supervisor in those times making statements in the nature that this complaint details. Most managers over the age of 45 have lived with this gender and discremination issue and duly respect the limits expected of leadership. Many new managers and supervisors seem to view it as humor and display an irreverant attitude to it with their subordinates. Sounds like she has a ligitimate claim here.
You need to see the news report. Google her name and you will find it. She has a very strong case. I side with her if what she says is true. She wore nothing out of the ordinary.
Sorry guys, yes she is good looking, but be realistic, is this really the best you’ve ever seen and you’d be unable to work with her because she is so hot? Honestly? Frankly, I gave you guys more credit than that. You need to get out more, go to the mall, a sporting event, the beach, anywhere there are women and you will find beautiful girls all over the place. Leave your cubicles, explore the world.
Good one, TxLady. I have visions of pasty faced men emerging en masse to the bright, sunlit world, rubbing their eyes unaccustomed to such a natural setting. Many have facial hair cut just so. They are all very fine video game players.
She seems to be suffering from Advanced Delusionary Princess Syndrome. Yeah she’s hot, but so are a lot of other women who remain gainfully employed. Her “hotness” would only be a problem if her coworkers are constantly reminded of how HOT she is. Why is this newsworthy?
I have never seen such interest from our insurance “professional” community. I would think a good looking person (either gender) would add to her performance (in the work place). Perhaps there is more to this story than meets the EYE.
LMAO @ Snidely Backlashs’ comment. Well done my friend. Damn good thing I wasn’t drinking milk b/c it would have come out my nose and ruined this fine keyboard.
I never realized IJ was so full of e-leg humpers. Makes for some quality entertainment and hilarious posts.
TX Lady….don’t mind the haters. You’re just rocking the boat. They mean no harm.
Oh come on… you can’t get any more conservative or sensible in a TURTLENECK!!!! ( Unless you are really built — and then NOTHING is going to hide it!!! )
Well…she’s not lying about being good looking (google search). At least this isn’t like the Hooters claim. Ridiculous yes, but she’s puuuurty.
I saw this on the news last night and can verify she is attractive. I would be distracted too. lol.
I do have a prediction though. I bet you $1 that we see this woman in playboy magazine within a year.
they should do a “girls of citibank” issue. that way citibank can say, hey! we have hot girls! she wasnt singled out!
Goes along good w/ this story: All the woman in an office are suing thier boss for sexual harassement. But since one employee wasnt sexually harassed she is suing her boss for discrimination. LOL just an afternoon funny. Happy Friday
I give it 6 months, actually. It’ll be a best-seller.
Once again validates my theory that hot chicks rule this world. As an Uglo-American, I’ve seen this time and time again.
This woman is definitely what my dad would have called “stacked.”
What was she supposed to do, bind her breasts or have breast reduction surgery to keep her job?
I just HATE it when this happens to us. ;-)
Not bad for a stuck up attention starved opportunist. “Ma’am here’s your 15 minutes”

No boob binding- just a good bra and a modest shirt…
On this one it should be the Elmer Fudd version of “I’m Too Sexy”.

See her boss was right! She’s distracting us at work right now!
anyone have any tissues?
Yeah okay, she could dress like a monk and she’d still be smokin’ hot…and I’m a chick.

TXLady: errr, yeah, she is that great. Hate to say it, but it’s way true.
TxLady,
Spoken like a true ugly chick. Don’t be a hater! She is hot!!!
Too many guys out there who cannot control themselves around nice looking women. If what she says is true, I hope she wins every penny…

And if you watch the video clip, in her interview, you see something on the “girls” that would be inappropriate at work.
I suspect that there’s something other than her looks that got her fired. Attitude, maybe? “I’m so hot” doesn’t fly in any workplace I know of.
(((nodding vigorously))
Yep, she makes some very good “points” in the interview.
Maybe she spurned the advances of her boss, he / she took offense and the fair maiden was fired!
She looks like Ashley Duprey – and surely is likewise an opportunist.

That is one super hot banker. I would hire her in a second. Whatever she wants for a salary, she deserves.
Wow!
Ok it’s guys like you that give the rest of us pervs a bad name.

Even brothels have offices!!!

This woman wore nothing out of the orginary. These guys need to grow up. You Go girl.
No, I dont wanna, and you can’t make me!

I found the prettiest one out there, and I married her. So feh!
Doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate a nice objet d’art when I see one.
Cuz we have nothing else to do on a Friday afternoon!!
Amen! Is it 5:00 yet?
I have never seen such interest from our insurance “professional” community. I would think a good looking person (either gender) would add to her performance (in the work place). Perhaps there is more to this story than meets the EYE.
Not the dumbest move Citigroup has made in recent years, but dumb it is.
