No Cost!! First Party post-breach notification expenses are astronimical. Healthcare has had more records compromised per event than any other industry segment. The potential penalties being imposed by HHS for violations of HIPAA’s Privacy and Security Rule, etc. are very large in many cases.
I wish this new entrant into the marketplace the best, but once they have to start ponying up the costs for these expenses they are going to realize quickly they may need to reconsider their “no cost” position.
